For Cornish Pasties from Cornwall you can't beat the Chough Bakery in Padstow. Since founding the bakery shop, in 1992, Elaine and Rob Ead have seen the business go from strength to strength. The Chough Bakery is most well known for its award wining Cornish Pasties!
Pasty production continues at the quayside shop where our pasties are freshly baked every day. However, due to incredible demand, and after two expansion projects, all the main bakery production is done at our factory units on the outskirts of Padstow.
The Chough Bakery has been winning awards for its Cornish pasties for many years, including the coveted Golden Pasty Award and at last year’s South West Master Bakers Championships, where we scooped First Prize in not one but two pasty classes! We have won this award several times in the past 5 years.
The business is dedicated to local sourcing and uses only Cornish produced beef skirt and Cornish vegetables when
seasonally available. A heavy emphasis on training and people development helps to ensure the quality and consistency of our products.
